Erasmus in Schools (EiS) is an activity that comes from the international project SocialErasmus (SE). Within SE, EiS covers one of the eight causes of SE: education.
The main objective of EiS is to familiarise local non-university students with international mobility and other countries, cultures and traditions in Europe and the world. The international student creates cultural awareness among local students and encourages them to participate in an exchange program in the future. Furthermore, EiS offers a fantastic opportunity to the international student to approach the local communities where they live, so they can feel as a part of the society that welcomes them.
Erasmus in Schools activities are always personalized, adapting to the local students, their educational level and the needs established by each teacher and are always supervised by at least one ESNr.
